My old boss bought 100+ cars

My old boss bought 100+ cars.
When my old boss sold the company and retired, he put his money to good use.
He bought over 100 cars and had them restored.
Here are a few Oldsmobile related pictures from this collection that I took this weekend.
The first car is actually the first car to wear the Oldsmobile badge.
It’s a 1901 Oldsmobile Curved Dash, build by Ransom Eli Olds.
I did not have time to go through his whole collection.
This weekend Bob pulled out some of his toys and raced them in his back yard.
The race show was designed to show how technology has changed around the turn of the century.
Car verses horse, Car verses Planes, etc.

First Olds.

First Olds badge.

1916 Olds.

Back yard races. The Plane won.

I've seen their F-4D Phantom flies at airshows several times and it 'steals the show'!

I have seen his airshow once when he came to Dallas (they come every year) and went through the B-17. I get Collins Foundation emails. I had no idea he has that many cars. I am going off memory but didn't he invent the bar code or something like that?

I think the bar code inventor was a different Collins. However, Robert Collins made his big bucks by integrating an inexpensive Cash-Register (Point-of-Sale terminals) to a barcode scanner for Grocery Stores in the 1980's. I converted about 20 Grocery stores from mechanical to electronic POS-Terminals with bar code Scanners in one year.
