I had three people tell me to spring for the $100 molded pad instead of the $25 one. I did but haven't installed it yet

I got one from Fusick Automotive Products, part number HI6876PM, cost $99.50, for my '68 4-4-2. It's great, looks great and it went in pretty easy. Shipping costs are excessive because it's a big piece, but I believe it's well worth it. See the Fusick catalog at www.fusick.com.

The molded pad is the original style, they look good and are easy to install.

I took Randy Corrigan's suggestion a while back and bought the molded one from Fusick, and it fits perfectly. It takes a bit of coaxing to get the clips to go in, so I suggest you have a second pair of hands to hold it in place while you push the clips in.
