Llano, Texas Memorial Day Festival

Free food & Blue Bell ice cream, bluegrass music, golf tournament, and a car show/cruise highlited the activities to honor Veterans over Memorial Day. The festival began with the Pledge of Allegiance and an invocation. I've included a few random cell phone pics of the event that was a huge success even with the random rain showers that popped up.

Thank you to all Veterans, past and present, and their families!

The Llano Chamber of Commerce put on an event Friday nite at the American Legion where all of the local restaurants, including Cooper's, provided free samples from their respective menu's. BBQ, Chinese, Pizza, Mexican, all sorts of desserts, salads, and appetizers. Sure made it hard to stay on the diet!
