Identify Valve Covers

I was wondering if anyone has seen valve covers like this or have any idea what company made these? I thought Ansen, but no info on the worldwide web. They were listed as 1965 Oldsmobile Tall finned valve covers. Unfortunately, I lost out on ebay, due to a internet issue that did not log my max bid before the auction ended.

Thanks,
Kino

Kind of look like an old Cal Custom set if they made them

I was kinda thinking that also, due to the distinct fin design. I searched Cal Custom for Oldsmobile valve covers, and it does appear they did produce, but I could not find any images of them for this gen 2 engines.

There were some off brand VC's marketed by JC Whitney and other cheapy parts outlets back then. Those look pretty nice, I'd use them.

Nice covers. Almost a variation on the old Offy cover with the central twist in breathers. I wish Edelbrock would have start reproducing their finned aluminum valve covers with the curved script. They did for nearly everyone else including Pontiac and AMC!

I would love a pair of those I posted for my "Divergent Day 2 build ". It would of been cool if Edelbrock reproduced those for Olds, so there would be another option other than the M/T valve covers. It seems no one wants to do much for the Olds crowd in regards to new aftermarket products. But hats off to those who have gotten stuff out or are in the vendor's ears getting us new products.

Those are nice! I never liked the M/T covers because they had the off set breather holes that no Olds used except the early Toros. They made it hard to hook up the breather plumbing if you were still using, say a '70-'72 OAI dual breather air cleaner like my buddies '70 W30 had when he bought back in '77.

Joe Mondello used to sell those in the days of the gray paper mailer catalogs with green type, thinking about 1985. He was closing them out and I wanted to buy several sets but didn't.

I'm suprised there are not any more of them floating around or being reproduced. They are so different from the avaliable valve covers for Olds.
