4 speed convention

Help ! I'm converting a 72 supream rag top to a w 30 clone. I'm using n older muncy with the studs not bolts to hold on the shifter arms , Im not sure what mounting plate to use to put my hurst compation plus shifter in the rite place to match up with my console ???? If anyone can help me with an installation kit number or possibly has the whole shifter n linkages n shift lever ( I believe it has a double bend to clear the console ) for sale or swap please let me know. Are you familiar with the issues with putting a manual transmission behind an Olds engine that was equipped with an automatic from the factory?

And the way the shifter arms are attached makes no difference in the mounting of the shifter body.

Are you aware that the current Hurst Comp shifters are different from the original GM versions?

The shifter handle is #7169, and the shifter base is #3138.

The current Hurst Comp shifter will not fit a 70 console.

Do a search here, as there are many threads about this subject.
