Directional Signal Fuse issue

Hello,

Have a weird issue that just started happening to my 70 Cutlass Supreme. The 20 amp directional signal fuse keeps blowing immediately after I swap it out. After the fuse blows it takes out my tach and my all of my gauges (water temp, oil pressure, and volt gauge). Any insight to this would be a great help.

Thanks a lot.

You have a short! You have to isolate the short, hooking a multi meter on the load side of the fuse holder, Set to ohms. Then unhook things on that circuit until the meter goes open. Now you have the exact circuit causing the issue.
FYI could be the componet or the wiring to it.
It would help if you had chassis service manual to follow the circuit.

I swapped out the turn signal flasher and directional signal fuse seems to be working normally and all appears to be normal. Thanks again for your help.
