WTB literature: assembly manual

Have been lurking around this site for many months and one thing that is often adviced is an assembly manuel.

Car: 1970 Cutlass Supreme Conv.
Engine+drivetrain: 1969 442

Please point me to the best literature there is, I´m thinking OPGi or The Parts Place as I do need other items for the car.

Has to be a place that ships to Europe.

Thanks

This is highly recommend as mentioned by Koda. There is access to view/download the Assembly Manual and other info to include a chassis manual and dealer bulletins, advertising, etc. All free.

Once you create an account, navigate to the aforementioned documents via the 'Factory Publications' button in "Your Dashboard".

You can have mine for free as I don't use it anymore. It was purchased 4 years ago and is published by Millenium Industries. In my opinion, the illustrations on various pages are faded/unclear. I usually print a hardcopy of single pages from the PDF version when I want to reference a topic for work in the garage.

Send me your mailing address in a Private Message and I'll get it out this week.

You're welcome - no problem at all. I've sent stuff overseas before and my post office is nearby.

The first thing you want is a Chassis Service Manual and a Fisher Body Manual. The Assembly Manual provides good detail on how the car was assembled at the factory, but the other two provide the actual information on how to repair the car.

Seems like you could print it out from WAC for a lot less cost than having it shipped to Europe. Just sayin'.

That's what I did for my '68. Came out great, I put the pages back to back in plastic sheet protectors and put them in two three ring binders.

^ Wow, that's a dedicated owner!

I print bits as needed sometimes blowing up line drawings and illustrations. Print all? Maybe in duplex.

Thanks for all of your replies.
Where will I find Chassis Service Manual and a Fisher Body Manual? Assembly manual I will be printing myself.
Are the Chassis Service Manual and a Fisher Body Manual available new or will I have to source them somewhere online?

Check Faxon Auto Literature on eBay USA:

http://stores.ebay.com/Faxon-Auto-Literature

Got all my books from them, they're shipping to Europe. Got my CSM for 19,- € plus reasonable shipping costs.

The best place to get Chassis Service Manuals and Fisher Body Manuals these days, in my opinion, is eBay.

Just search on US eBay, and ask sellers whether they would ship to Denmark. I'm sure you'll find some who will.
