questions for U 64-65 F-85 Post car lovers
Guys what have you used in the past to reline the post car door and rear window qtr.frames? I bought Fusick part number C808 flex window channel I dry fit some areas and it seems to work-what did you do in the front door frame at the 90 degree turn, cut a little slit in it so it would bend? Also this material does not work well for the rear qtr. vertical window channel, any ideas? Pictures attached
For the glass channel weather strips used Ames part number F225H for a 64 Pontiac Tempest post car, 8 piece kit for the inner and outer and except for one less clip on the inner door piece they fit great, now these have a thin chrome piece in it, my 64 post base model was solid rubber. I could not source these for the Olds. For the Vintage AC, high power stereo etc, I installed a Painless 70107 7 circuit replay instead of using the old fuse box.
