Hello: I have learned from this site there is quite a bit of difference in the sizes of 1970 trunk lids for different models. I have the same question for a 1969 Cutlass. Does the trunk lid from a 2 door coupe fit the convert? Does the 4 door htp or 4 door sedan fit the convert or 2 door coupe? Does only a convert trunk lid fit a convert? Thank you.

A 2 dr coupe is different. I believe a 4 dr will fit a 'vert. Wait for a 2nd opinion.

i believe the 4dr=conv decklid is true for at least 68 & 69

Here's a summary:

1964-67 - one trunklid fits all body styles within a given year (I believe 66 and 67 interchange also).

1968-69 - two different trunklids (4dr/conv and coupe) within a given year (ie, 68 and 69 are different).

1970-72 - three trunklids (4dr/conv, Cutlass coupes, and Supreme coupes); the same trunklids fit all three years.
