That does sound like a good deal! Wish I were closer for a local pick up.

Dennon Behel will build a better transmission for less money,I promise you that. He's very good to deal with.I had him do all of mine. That one on CL is a little cheaper at $625.00,and does include the converter, but I haven't found any good transmissions with the B&M kits in them.I like the TransGo kits, which are the same as the TCI kits, they just color a few things differently.I went through 3 transmissions in 2 months,in 2001,and it basicly came down to the builder not listening to what I wanted, and did not install what I felt should be in there.I've had the 1st one Dennon did for me in there ever since, and it's fine.He explained a lot of other things to me as well, like the clutches, and how there are other options for those. If you look in any book,or trans specialist, they all use a term like Alto reds, meaning the type of clutches.Dennon explained to me how there are actually different colors for different levels of aggressiveness. The red is the basic, then green, blue, and black. He has taken the time to experiment & test the different levels,to see what you can do with what.He has the blacks in his daily-driven truck, and hasn't had any issues.I had all of my transmissions built with the blue or green, depending on if it was for a restoration,or a street/strip car.I didn't mean to babble, but I just thought some of you would like a little more info, and maybe when you need to have one rebuilt, you will have a little more knowledge about it,so you don't look so hopeless when talking to your transmission specialist.
