The Sturgeon is from Thunder Rapids on the Saskatchewan River just off World Famous Tobin Lake. The big Catfish is on the Quapelle River just off Crooked Lake. The big Cats just sit there stuffing their faces at the bottom of the dam. They actually taste dam good too. The Walleye are all a mile from our house at Melville Reservoir, few are as lucky as my Wife. I have caught a 30 inch, Wife a 32 and we were both there for a 34 inch Walleye. My wife also caught a 33 inch Pike which came in 2013. The Perch population took a big hit but the Walleye population is as healthy as ever.

Nice catch !. I've only caught one walleye in my whole life and that was in a north east nevada desert reservoir, didn't even know what it was till later. Not many in the areas I frequent..... Tedd

Amazing Fishes
I have yet to fry up a sturgeon
I know the walleyes are tasty
Throw the long ones back for breeding stock
Plus catch them again when they are bigger
BIG ONES here have a smaller tail fin than river fish
Some have big pig bass belly on them too
NICE CATCH
