Elvis

Has anybody mentioned that "The King" would have been 75 today?

RIP Elvis.

Didn't see any specials on TV about it. You'd think they would have a tribute show to the king on one of the major networks.

What do ya mean Elvis WOULD HAVE been 75 today????

Just before Christmas, I SAW him. He is alive and well and playing Santa at SEARS!!! He even wrote a song about that.

PS: His clothes fit a little tighter than when he was on stage, but he's great with kids.....and hot babes...

To the KING!! (I think USPS wants to remember him as always 29 = LOL)

Alan R,
He must have moved, because I had always heard that he was working at Burger King in Kalamazoo, MI.

Sorry guys but he is gone. I knew that when Lisa Marie married Michael Jackson and Elvis didn't show up. I don't think he would have been happy about that.

Unhappy Blue Moon

The wife is an ELVIS fan and we went to a dinner show at Stage West in Mrs. Auga Monday night...It was an Elvis tribute show with the local Ontario champions performing and in the audience there were another twenty ETA performers watching and sang a finale on stage at the end of the evening...good food, good show...good night Elvis...again as for me... I like Hendrix

I played guitar in a band the singer was an Elvis fan. When we would play Elvis songs people would go crazy. Which the singer could sound like Elvis pretty close. The only song people would respond to more than Elvis songs was Freebird.

Yep fer real. I'm letting the candles burn all day to keep me warm. [But the Fire Department is on stand bye.] I dialed 9-1 and I have my finger on the one.

Fire/heart attack/what ever

Happy Birthday Jamesbro. Today is my oldest grandson's birthday also. He is 7.

My sister gave me a book about ELvis for Christmas. It was written by his stepbrother. In my opinion Dr. Nick and the Colonel should have been put in jail. Dr. Nick knew everything that was going on and how many drugs Elvis was using. The Colonel used Elvis for every nickel he could get out of him. At one point, the Colonel changed his contract with ELvis to get 50% of everything he made and he made a lot. They were the only two who could have stopped the drug use. Others tried but Elvis would just get made as hell at them. In 1977 clebrities did not go through rehab like they do now. Too bad.
