It always amazes me how few of these I see at shows.Of course I don't go to Dodge shows.But there were so many of them.You could always tell when someone was starting one ching ching ching ching.

Yeah, for about twenty years, it may actually have been the most common engine on the road - Granny cars, practical family cars, delivery vans, work trucks, police cars (in a lot of cities) - from the early sixties to the eighties, they were everywhere.

And now - you never see them, or hear them putting by.

I guess the old timers must have said the same thing about the Model T (we've got one around here - you can't miss the chugging sound when the guy drives by to pick up his mail).
