Rear sway bar swap

I'd read once that a rear sway bar from an F body 70-81 would fit on an 64-72 A body. Can anyone confirm this. Now that I'm looking I cant find anything that says it's true. Reason I ask is because I found a cheap sway bar for an F body but dont want to get it if it wont fit my car.

I do not see how it will work. The mounting is totaly different between a leaf spring car and an A body. The center of the bar attached to long links to brackes mounted on the frame rails and then on to brackets on the leaf spring pearch.

I am interested to see pictures if some one has done this swap.

Not even close. The FRONT sway bar from a 1970-81 F-body bolts into a 64-72 A-body (hint: go for the 1.25" version) but no such luck on the rear bar.
