68-72 A body 4 speed

Anybody have a 4 speed car for sale? 20-30k? Small or big block, but would prefer a big block. Price needs to reflect condition and rarity.

I have a "72" W-29 V-code convertible that I would sell. Asking price would be $32,500. I can send you some documentation if you like.

Jon, don't mean to temporarily hijack your thread but...

Hi 72M-29Vcode- I don't think I have your car in the V Code registry yet. Can you please PM me? I'd be interested in more details about it too. Thanks.
Terry

Hey Terry,

I sent you a PM, but, got a message that you storage capacity was full. You do or did have my car in your registry when it was up. Have you re-opened it under a new domain?

Hi Jim -

Recognized your name right away. Here is the archived page for your car:

https://web.archive.org/web/20081014.../newpage60.htm

I have a Facebook page for the V Code registry (and a U Code one too) until I get around to rebuilding the formal V Code website. I'd be happy to make a casual post about your car there if I didn't already do that earlier and can mention you may be interested in selling if you'd like.

Terry

I have a 68 442 W30 I am considering selling, frame off was done 12 years ago, so you can be assured the car is solid. Numbers matching car, with only 42K miles on it, was an old drag car. 4speed with factory 4:33 gear, power windows but everything else manual. Not sure if this is in your price range but thought I would put it out there for you. Message me if interested.

Cool car and probably rare as hens teeth, but that's just a bit outside my price range, and I'm not much of a convertible guy. Thanks anyway.

I have a 68 Cutlass S that is unrestored and driving. Still working on the interior but will be selling next year. It was a 2bbl 350 with 3 speed center console from the factory. I had a W-31 spec engine built and put a fresh M20 in with a scatter shield. Front discs (single piston), front and rear sway bars, boxed rear control arms, tubular front A-arms. Body is straight and all there but a little bondo down low and a few dings. I have a set of SSII wheels to go with it. I don't know your timing but this car will sell next Summer.

Here is a 1969 442 hardtop 4 speed w/AC that supposedly had a frame off back in 1994-1995 for $35K in Rhode Island - saw it on craigslist.

Here’s hoping someone spent more time and attention on the resto than they did making this sign...
