1970 Cutlass Supreme Convertible
Hello everyone. I bought my Cutlass in 2010, but now face the reality of college costs and a car that sits in the garage. Here's a list of the work that was done by either me or the prior owner - mostly the latter, and mostly within the past 2,500 miles:
Carb rebuilt
Alternator rebuilt
Master cylinder rebuilt w/steel sleeve
Vacuum hoses, belts, heater hoses replaced
Transmission (m-20) converted from automatic to 4-speed manual, new clutch
Shifter rebuilt & replated
Convertible top, well and motor replaced
All seat covers replaced
Carpet and underlayment replaced
Rear-end sand-blasted and painted w/new axel bearings and seals
New u-joints
New brake pads, shoes, rotors and drums refaced
New front brake lines
New rear springs
New fenders and quarters (GM)
Thornton air induction hood and air cleaner assembly
New tires and center caps
New speedo cable
New marker and back-up lights
New weather stripping (ex conv top)
AM/FM radio rebuilt
Sport steering wheel
All interior lights replaced and functioning
Lighter repaired and functioning
The car has working A/C, but it needs to be charged. The paint, body and interior are flawless. The car has about 117,000 miles on its original engine, and it runs beautifully. You will not find a nicer example of a 1970 Cutlass Supreme convertible anywhere. Finished in triple black with a white-striped Thornton hood. I apologize for not attaching pictures, but I was not able to transfer the same from my iPhone to my laptop and ultimately to this post. That said, I'm more than happy to share PMs with any and all interested parties.
The car is $25,000 and is located in Morris County, NJ.
Best,
Tim
