Alot of $$$ if you ask me, looks to be a very base cutlass, no rally,s power windows, air, buckets console etc. I can't see it bringing 10k unless your throwing in the museum, good luck with your sale.

Did I hurt your feelings?? Just saying it seems like alot of $$$ for a car of that year not being fully optioned. Nice car ? Absolutely ! Worth 10K ? Nope ! Was I out of line ? Popeye ? May I ask the point of your post ? Some feel their cars are worth big $$$. I shared my opinion anuf-said. I hope he gets 10k for the car, I just don't think it will happen on the Classic Oldsmobile Site.

I kind of wonder why he didn't use the opportunity with his comment above to take you to the woodshed. Can anyone say "double-standard?"

I suppose I was sarcastic with my post, just straight up here, Car sales guys get this all the time. I may be taken to the woodshed as you stated. I don't think I hurt anyone intentionally, Just my opinion. It would have been my .02c but I don't have .02c just my opinions till after Christmas.

The car is actually pretty nicely optioned, seems to me in being critical -- not even constructively -- you just showed your ignorance
Is the car a base coupe with no options? No -- it's a Brougham which has ...
- Brougham interior ("pillowtop seats") which is better than standard cloth interior
- Looks to be a split-bench front seat; granted, not bucket seats with a floor shifter, but it's better than standard full bench in a standard coupe
- Wire wheels ... granted, not Super Stock ralleys (which would be body color) or the even better Chrome Super Stock ralleys (chrome) but better than the standard hubcaps
Other options:
- V-8 (base engine is the V-6)
- Landau top
- Cruise control
... and then, your statement of "no air"? I will cede the point A/C was an option, but you had to have made that statement in the blind -- the "climate control" panel (specifically the A/C portion of it) is blocked in the pictures by the steering wheel
Your comments about the price & the museum with a follow-up "good luck"? You may as well have just said "no offense" or "just saying," in that context they mean the same thing ... most people who are selling a used car know a listed price is the beginning of the negotiation, unless you are Hank Hill and grew-up paying MSRP no questions asked.
Awwww, car sales guys get this all the time -- then just send a PM
