1974 Cutlass Supreme
I have decided to put my Cutlass up for sale to start restoration of my great grandpa's International Scout. I bought the car in the summer of 2011 and have since rebuilt and replaced a lot on it. The car is has all original metal in good shape with no cancer. The interior is in good shape with only a little weathering on the plastic lower door panels. The car was repainted in the late 70's or early 80's in lacquer, so there is some crackling and crazing in the paint in places. Two summers ago, I pulled the entire drive line and rebuilt it. A new engine was bored to 362 cu with forged Scat rods, forged Ross pistons, and balanced. The heads are Pro Comps cut to 68 cc's giving a 10:1 static compression ratio. The cam is an Erson with .504 lift, 228 deg duration, 111 LSA, giving just under 8:1 dynamic compression. It has Pertronix Ignitor 2 ignition, a Holley 750 with vacuum secondaries, and a recirc electric fuel system. It has headers and 3" exhaust with an x pipe and Dynomax mufflers. The trans is a TH350 built by ATS in Janesville, WI with all the upgrades to handle 600 ft-lbs and a nice shift kit. The torque converter was built by PTC, has anti-ballooning plate, and a 2700 RPM stall. The rear end has a rebuilt GM posi carrier and 3.42 gears. The tires are 225/70-R14's on the front, and 275/60-R15's in the rear. I put an aluminum 4 row radiator and an auxiliary trans cooler in as well. There are probably many things I'm forgetting here. The car runs really well, and is a lot of fun to drive. I don't really need to sell it, but I can't keep all my toys, I guess. I'm asking $10,500 or best offer and am located in Whitewater, WI. I can send more pictures if needed.
Thanks much!
