1967 Delta 88 sedan

This isn't mine, but I also have a '67 Delta, and one thing I find is how uncanny it is that every time I see the back end of a '67 Delta or Delmont, there is a fitment problem with the trunk lid. I've circled it in the photo below, and my trunk lid is exactly the same. The trailing edge trim sticks down 1/4" or so, even though the trunk lid looks to be properly fitted with regard to the forward edge of the trunk opening. There is no adjustment with regard to the position of the trim.

Mine is the same way. I've adjusted things slightly, but still not perfect.

My '67 Ninety Eight is the same way. Knowing I'm not alone does make me feel a bit better about it however.
