Is there a hump in the trunk sheet metal
72 Supreme deck lid has a hump near the trunk key hole. It is below the hole and above it and carries up through the curve of the trunk sheet metal. Is this the natural shape? If you run your finger along the trunk line at the edge of the trunk lid, it curves right at the key hole or center of the trunk. This slight curve in the trunk seems to create this hump. I am thinking not to hammer is down ?? What do you think?

Whatever shape/curvature is there is likely a result of the stamping process/stresses. I would not attempt to reshape or "flatten" it - you will likely create a mess trying to do that. Doesn't look like that area sustained any prior damage or abuse so it's likely a stamping result.
If you're going to use a high build primer on the car then you're already aware of the "shape" of this area so block sand evenly when you get to this spot.
