Get hood to shut tight on a '65

I notice with the hood closed on my '65 it still has about 1/4" more it can go down while it's latched. I don't see any adjustment on the latch and it doesn't look like the hinges have ever been moved. Is there anything I can do or is this typical? It isn't really noticable other than the front chrome trim not lining up on one side.

The latch can be adjusted with the 2 bolts that hold it on the hood, if its the same as a 67. There are two outer stops that thread into the core support with rubber stoppers that will adjust the edges of the hood up or down.
