Smile '83 olds custom cruiser.

Looks like the transmission rebuild was good. Now to look at the body.
Before I do anything else I need to replace the door window weather seals. If anyone can give me a guide as to how to go about it it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Jim.

If your planning on repainting I would wait until after to replace weather stripping.

Smile 1983 Custom cruiser.

Thanks for the sound advice Eric.
Cannot consider painting until next year but in the mean time I need to seal the vehicle to keep the wind and water out which will enable me to do some interior work. drivers seat and head liner.

Do you already have the new window weatherstrips (sweeps, as they are also called)? If not, I may still have a Nos set for all four doors... I also may have the tailgate window strip as well.........

Thanks CRUZN 66. I need to know how to take the old ones out before I can think about new ones. Once I have that info I would be pleased to talk with you on what you have.

I will have to pull the part numbers and compare them to be sure.... I will also have to verify what I still have in my stock since I have already sold two sets.... I will let you know via PM as soon as I can, if I have them.....
