They might be for a 98, they had a different shape than the 88 but would fit a 54 also. It might just be the picture but doesn't it look like there are two different shaped skirts?..Tedd

54-55 used the same quarter-panel so either skirt will fit, but these look like 54-earlier. Ninety Eight Holidays had a different rear wheel opening w/o skirt, but the sedans used the same teardrop cutout skirt as the 88.

The Skirts in the picture Are 1953 98 4dr. and I believe they also cover 1954 98 sedan. In ''54-'55 "98's" Holidays ( 2 or 4 Drs.) and "98" Convertibles ,and all "88" 4door Hardtops all used the same skirts, but we're different from the ones pictured above.. The skirts pictured might work on a '54 or '55 88 Sedan ,but I think the length may be different! And they would not be period correct. Your car would have come with the slim teardrop skirts just like the ones on Tedds ' '55 Convertible .Pull up Tedd's album named Coming Out of Paint! Larry

In 1954, the only cars with skirts were the 88's and the 98 4-door. The skirt on the 98 was longer and had chrome trim on the bottom of it where the 88 did not. The Starfire and the Holiday Coupe had teardrop wheel openings on the rear. The 54 and 55 skirts for the 88 are different but will interchange. There is a pretty decent looking pair of 54 88 skirts on ebay for $125 which is a good price depending on the shipping.

Redoldsman,in 1954 "98" 2 dr. Hardtops and convertibles skirts were available. This same skirt would fit 1955 "88" holiday sedan, and "98" Holiday coupes and convertibles. It also was used on any model of 1956 Olds. Look up 1954 Olds "98" Images and you will see some.,and also 1955 "98" Holiday coupe And Convertible, and '55 "88" Holiday sedan Images. Larry

Rocketowner:

I can see where those skirts were the same. However I don't believe they were factory in 1954. I think I have every piece of literature from 1954 and none of them show skirts on the cars you mention. I imagine most of those came from Foxcraft.
