Torque sequence and specs

Hi Guys;
I'm about to reassemble my 1976 455. I have a 1969 chassis service manual with all the specs...but I want to be sure the torque specs and sequence for the heads, rods, intake, etc...is all the same from 1968-1976 on the 455 engine.

Thanks

Stock bolts on everything? If so then follow the service manual.

Yes...stock bolts for the most part. If I do need to get different bolts [may want to get stainless bolts for the intake], what do I need to watch out for?

Yes, the torque values are the same for '69 and '75.

Intake bolts are not torqued heavily so SS should work there.

Watch out for?
Crappy Chinese fasteners, grade 2 hardware...
Stick with factory fasteners for the right look or deviate up, like Grade 8's where not necessary- intake, water pump, t'stat housing, bellhouse to block, etc.

Socket head cap screws are very strong also, but generally plain black finish and not that good at rust resistance.
