Throttle cable variance - 1968 to 1969?

Can someone tell me the difference between the A Body 4BBL throttle cable used in 1968 and those used from 1969-1972?

I'd give Fusick a call and see why they list it as 69-72.

Supercars lists the same cable for 68-72

So does The Parts Place

I agree with Mike's advice. I can't think of a difference between 68 and 69 cars.

I didn't think of that... I looked up the original numbers in the GM parts catalog and they were different.

I'll check with them tomorrow, thanks

The peg on the carb arm differs SLIGHTLY, like 0.10" longer on the '68?
something like that
So, the '68 cable maybe had a fatter bushing in the end?

I think I'm gonna get a 69 cable and apply the Chevy Rule:

"If it sticks, force it; if it breaks, it needed replaced anyways!"

Looked at the OE cables on my 68 Hurst and 70 W-30. The '68 cable does have a coil spring around the wire between the black plastic part that snaps into throttle cable bracket and the metal tube on the carb end. The 70 does not.
