Try 'Inline Tube'...stainless or regular everyday steel...

Pictures. I bought this from Fusick, because of my aluminum intake, incorrect carb and modified alternator mount it didn't work out for me. I didn't tweak it or do anything to it as it was evident it wouldn't fit. I bent my own and laid this one away, I figured someone would want it sometime. It would not have been ordered for a Toronado, but I can't see why one 455 would be different than another. $20 plus actual shipping. If you are interested send me your address and I will check shipping by USPS.

Unfortunately, a Toro has a unique low-rise intake manifold, and the carb. sits in a different place.

Very nice of you to try to help, though. Merry Christmas!

Can't see how a minor bend would affect anything, maybe a couple to get it where needed, if no Toronado specific line is available!
They're not 'dead on', anyway!
Try 'The Parts Place', too!

You might also Google some sites on GMC motor homes that used the Toro drivetrain. I know they have developed other specialty parts for the FWD Olds like a low-rise aluminum intake. Might have what you need.

RickMan, The guy's German, he's not some bloody Englishman who'll "muddle through" or some unschooled American who can rig anything to "git 'er dun!"
He wants the RIGHT part.

If not, he'll develop engineering studies and have a shop bend it to the precisely correct shape, so that it drops in, in exactly the way that the factory correct part never did .

(Am I close to being right, EightballZ?)

And, yes, I am half German (and a quarter Italian - talk about internal conflicts!)
