Well, sir, the 6.1" water pumps as far as I know all came with the 1.75" inlet nipple, and that combo is far and away the most common Olds V8 water pump on the planet. The typical casting number is 412265, with a large "4" on the RH outlet boss. I have dozens and dozens of used ones, or you can get a nice new one at any parts store. Ask for one from a 1976 Toronado. Pretty sure by 1973, almost all Olds had AC and all of the AC cars used the #4 WP. Beware the stamped impeller pc of crap vs the factory type cast iron impeller.

I can ship to Europe via USPS but it is very very expensive.

correct me if i'm wrong...but as far as i know..casting # 412265 means 5.95" in height.

the correct casting # for a 1970 toronado with 6.07" in height would be 404562

see:

http://www.oldsmobility.com/oldsmo/v....php?f=6&t=391

EDIT: well it looks like they have two different sizes for one casting number 5.95" and 6.07" ..i'm confused

The difference of 5.95 and 6.07" is negligible.

There is a 5.1" , a 5.5" and a 6.1" pump.

It looks correct in the picture, but you can get the pump for $12 on rockauto. Just look up 1980 delta 88 with the 5.0 307 engine. That will be the same as well.

ok ok...so i wanna order A-1 cardone #58295 via rockauto...

rockauto says this fits for some cars with A/C and on other cars only w/o A/C ...at least the hub height is ok "w/5 15/16" Hub Ht" ..so what means that thing with A/C??

Oldsmobile Toronado 1980-1973 Application Data:
w/A.C. and Standard Pump and w/2 Outlets

Oldsmobile Toronado 1978-1970 Application Data:

w/o A.C. and Standard Pump

http://www.cardone.com/Products/Prod...d=58295&p=rock

can i order that pump??

rockauto has a problem with that...they wanna tell me that a pump for a 307 made a decade later could never fit on a 1970 455.

so i guess you guys are right?...hopefully
