Spotted a 71 Cutlass in a wrecking yard today, pics at this link (including Vin, protecta-plate and glovebox codes). Had remnants of 442 emblems on the fenders, but I don't think it actually was a 442.

Nope, just a '71 Cutlass S with a '72 radiator core support. Originally a bench seat car. Still some good parts there. A '71 442 vin. would start with 344871

What do you think those seats are out of? I was especially curious about the drivers with the double ***** on the base. The front one raises and lowers the front edge, rear one does the same for the back - where those G body seats from those years?
