04A = April (04) 1st week of (A) begin assembly date
66 = 1966 model year
33817 = Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme Holiday Coupe (2 dr V8)
BF = Fremont, California Fisher Body Plant
05509 = Body Unit #
980 = Black in color themed interior with Strato bucket seats (I believe)
N N = Burgundy Mist lower & upper body paint

Give me a few mins and I'll see if I can decipher the rest.

Okay now I may be wrong and it isn't the 1st nor the last time I am/was so correct me if I am....

The 031322 is the total number of Oldsmobiles (all models) built to date at the Fremont plant when this tag was punched.

Thanks for info GAoldsman
I have the 66 assembly manual and 66 maint manual and can find some of the info.
But I can't find the 031322 code stuff. Where do you find this?

At first I thought they were IBM accessory codes like on the Protect-O-Plate but apparently not.

The 031322 is the total number of Oldsmobiles (all models) built to date at the Fremont plant when this tag was punched.
That number is the "Manifest Seq. No." as Bro says on his site and is shown in the respective box on the build sheet.
However, it indicating the "the total number of Oldsmobiles (all models) built to date at the Fremont plant when this tag was punched" is not correct. This has proven to be an inaccurate conclusion of what the Manifest Number is. The proof of this is a little farther down the page showing July date with a smaller number than a June build. Now I can't say it impossible that one of the dates is a typo, but based on what evidence we actually have, we can't say that the Manifest Number is a sequential build series. All we can say is that the Manifest Number is sequential.
The fact that Fremont assembled other makes throws a lot more variables into the mix, and they were understandably not nearly structured as Lansing.
