Please help me out here.

It has intrinsic value of a Cutlass, as a 442 clone ( the owner was honest about that ) it has poor value because of all the non-Olds stuff in it like the chevy rear-end and the dodge color therefore it is not even true to being an accurate clone. BUT, as a car it is beautiful and if you like it and want it then it is worth what you are prepared to pay for it. I noticed that only the seat cushions and covers are new and it still has a steering column with automatic shifter stub on it. The consoles are quite expensive though and I think the person selling it spent quite a bit of money on fixing it up. As a restored Cutlass it has low value because it isn't, as a 442 clone it has low value because it is not accurate and many Olds enthusiasts snub those, as a car in very nice condition it has high value but I wouldn't pay that much. Good luck in your decision.
btw, if you want more negative impressions ask the same question over at Realoldspower.com, they will flame it all day long and pick it to pieces. One more thing I noticed and you should ask before you buy it. What is the cr rating of those pistons he used, if more than 10:1 you will not be able to get good gas for it as a daily driver very easily.

It is a nice car. If you found a car yourself and did everything "frame off" like he says was done, it would cost more than he is asking. Basically the car is worth what an individual is willing and able to pay for it. These cars are going up in value but this car should be bought as a keeper because there is no solid book value for it. If someone is looking for an investment, they better look somewhere else.

The CUTLASS is very sharp and clean. Personally, I wouldn't buy the car for that price, exspecially as an investment. I would probably bet the seller has a lot of pride in the car. I can tell that from the key chain model as well as the 24 scale model sitting in the car. So, I am betting the seller isn't going to go down if any. But, good luck with what ever you decide.
