'83 Cutlass side

Was a sharp looking car - but with a V6, it was slow as a turtle. This was my drive to church or go on a date car. I have a '82 Cutlass without the dog house just waiting for one of my 455s to be dumped in...or maybe crushed.

The Green Banana! This is the only car I ever took to 120 miles per hour...my brother behind me in his Eagle Talon said that flames were shooting out of the exhaust.

1995 Chevy Astro

Traded in for a Honda Odyssey in May, 2010...Astro was getting to the point of nickel and diming me with repairs.

1979 VW Sciracco

I bought this right before the Green Banana and Rusty Potato so that I would not put miles on the '83 Cutlass. This was another fun car to beat to hell...a minor problem with blow-by - so I routed the hose from the valve cover to a plastic jug that I emptied every now and then.

1974 Mercury Capri

This was a fun car to beat to hell while I was trying to restore my 98. After driving through a deep puddle, I chewed off half the nylon teeth of the timing gear.

'72 98 side

My favorite car I've ever owned. No creature comforts...crank windows, no cruise control, no power seats or door locks. Had her in high school - 10 MPG meant I had to get a job to gas her up. With my lead foot, that was a lot of gas and tires to buy!

'69 Delta 88 side

After I bought it, the tow truck dropped it and broke the frame so I was only able to pull the engine and transmission.

The Rusty Potato! Bought it in college for $300 to drive around, where my job took me, in Gary and South Side of Chicago...the car fit in and was sturdy. I only have one question for Oldsmobile...Why a 2bbl on a 425?
