Something for the glove box - this was a great idea!

From the original owner Marvin: "I was car shopping at Vincent J. Neu in Davenport in November and December of 1967. They were trying to sell me a trade-in 1967 98 gold 2-door hardtop, when I spotted a new white 1968 with black vinyl top on their lot (see attached photos). That was the end of my interest in their used 1967. Since their 1968 was not fully loaded, I went back home and Henderson’s Chevrolet-Olds in Muscatine matched their price and they threw in all of the options not on the V.J. Neu car. We ordered the car sometime after Dec. 10, 1967, and it was built on January 11, 1968, received and undercoated at the dealer on January 16, and we picked it up the next day. It is the one of the few cars that has ever impressed my wife. She wrote this in her diary on January 17: “Sunny, high 42. We picked up our car at 5. It is a honey. (White with black vinyl top.) We took a ride to Davenport after supper.”."
