After bloody knuckle and a fair amount of cursing, the dash is back in the car with all the wiring neatly tucked away and connected. I happy to report all the electrical items work as they should with th exception of the parking brake indicator, which seems to have a permanent ground connection as it doesn't turn off when the parking brake pedal is released.
