Here is that antique desk that I had mentioned she had picked up last week. Further sleuthing revealed these desks were produced for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in the 1870's tineframe, shortly after the company was founded in 1858. Note the M and L in the iron legs. She is not sure what she's going to do with it yet. She doesn't want to do anything that will devalue it, as they are worrh quite a bit from what we've uncovered so far.
