Trickiest part was shortening the lower carpet. It’s got the edging sewed on with a hidden stitch. So you have to pull the threads on the hidden stitch back. Cut the carpet the amount you need to shorten it. And then resew the hidden stitch by hand. The look of the stitching is not critical cause it will be hidden when you fold the vinyl edging over and glue it to the cardboard.
