I’m not too concerned about what the tree hugger opinion is on this stuff. Who knows where/when the trade off is on efficiency verses cost to manufacture or replace. I just think it’s absolutely best shit crazy that with all the advances in manufacturing and materials that something made 70 years ago still works flawlessly, while the crap made today won’t last a fraction of the time, and can’t be serviced.
