I knew someday I would get old, it just got here way faster than I ever expected. I remember asking my dad how old he was, I told he was really old when he said 28. It didn’t bother me one bit to crawl around under a car all day, on cold concrete (many times, in the dirt, or gravel). Now that I’m almost 50, an hour under the car today hurts for 3 days after the job is done. When I’m 70, I’ll probably look back fondly at my “youth” of 50.
