I put the radio on the floor board in an upside down universal box. I wanted to put it in the glove box but that wouldn't have worked very well. I still need to use electrical tape and wrap the wiring bundle. FWIW, it doesn't get in the way of the accelerator and I wear a size 18 boot.

Sorry for the lousy pic but you can see the aftermarket speaker grills I installed on top of the front speakers. The original grills wouldn't work because the new speakers were dual cone and got in the way. Luckily the rear speakers worked fine under the package tray. The front grills do look a bit tacky but I didn't have to modify the dash so I am happy.

Here is the amp and subwoofers in the trunk. I mounted the amp using sheet metal screws that were abou 3/4". It's actually farther on the driver's side than the gas tank, so I didn't have to drop the tank. I could mount the subwoofers on the passenger's side out of the way of the tank but so far they aren't moving when I drive.
