First Thing I did was to build a Temporary Jig, Makes cleaning it etc easier, jack stands will work but all of mine are holding up my frame!! 

I took the axles, drums, and backing plates off in the garage, then lugged this mutha outside, get a friend to help, cuz I think I lost more then my breather tube, saw something rolling away LOL.... seriously this thing is heavy!!

Another pic of the code It is on the rifght hand axle tube near the vent tube. Where's the vent tube you ask?? EXACTLY that is what I want to know!!! LOL

Found what looks to be a number 8 this was more then paint? sort of looked like a resin this was on the right side looking from the rear

There was another witness mark on the left tube spring Mount, reading the manual the pigtail of the spring was suppose to face inside so maybe this is what it was for, it is the same aqua color
