Actually have a friend that has his engine like this, on a stand, in his family room with a spot light on it. Looks pretty good!

Cast pistons. All pistons and rods where weighed to the exact grams of weight. Some machine! Noble Racing did the rebuild for me.

Norris Racing built my engine. This is the set up thats weights and removes metal to grams of weight to balance everything. Did pistons, rods and crank. Great guy Tim Noble. Blueprinted as blueprinted as you can get. They build some awsome engines.

Heat shield and brace. This replaces the bar brace. So that's what that hole in the side of the starter is for. The 72 AM shows this not the 71. Serious piece of steel

"The" correct carb-ending 257 I think. Was heck to find but Norris Racing said it would effect everything they did if I didn't install the exact carb the engine was designed for.

I got rid of the ceramic exhaust. Sounded good at first but looked awful being as I am restoring to original. Additional cost but it looks so much better to me. Any one need a set?

Ran it on test stand prior to install-"cherry bombs" didn't sound bad. It was wonderful to hear. Started first time!

Nervous wreck. Never hauled a $5000 engine sitting on a tire in the back of my truck.
