Ocean Mist as we call her, from the factory name of the color has been with us since July of 2018. She was a very weather worn car but at low mileage of 68,000 miles when we got her. Pedal wear and overall condition plus the fact after cleaning electrical connections, the clock and factory cruise control now work fine. So does the A/C (held pressure well during testing, then retrofitted). The car has factory AM/FM radio, air conditioning, power vent windows, cornering lights, Tilt/telescopic steeringand a few other nice options. The classic car hobby is very expensive in Canada thanks to a weak dollar and high customs duties sourcing parts in the States. It is only because I have a fair mechanical aptitude I could have this car. This was a very dollar concious repair of the car except where safety components were concerned. Thankfully the brakes were in good repair with new hoses, wheel cylinders. We upgraded to a split master cylinder. The steering only needed an idler arm to make the car fit for the road. We found a complete limited slip rear axle (rare) for the car and this is an upcoming swap. I had to rebuild the whole base of the windshield as it was rusted, very common on GMs' even from dry climates. Ocean Mist is anything but perfect, I did not expect her to be. She is presentable as is and we get a lot of attention at shows because you just don't see these cars too often. Read more ยป

The rear seat area, as nice as I could make it. The carpets had to be removed and scrubbed like crazy to make them presentable once more.

What a score, a repaired/rechromed rear bumper less then 2 miles from home. It was sitting in somebody's barn for years!

An evening picture. With the addition of an amber bulb, the cornering lamps act as side markers as seen on '68 and up Cadillac etc.
