In the lower right corner of this shot, you can see where the pink ignition wire connects to the filter capacitor that is mounted inside on the firewall. This then goes out through the large firewall grommet to the UHV harness

I took this shortly after I started putting the car back together. You can see the amplifier over behind where the battery would be. At this point I only had it mounted temporarily because I was still working on restoring the harness

Oddly, the distributor was dated quite a bit earlier than the amp and car. It is 7H so it must have been sitting on the shelf for awhile

When I got the car, the red distributor cap had been replaced, the plug wires had been changed and the harness had been spliced into to power an electric fuel pump, but luckily all of the other parts where sill there. I bought a new correct red UHV cap and a set of 1st quarter 68 dated reproduction plug wires.
