Same Tranny's?

I'm going this week to pickup a 69 Delta 88. Apparently the original 350 was replaced with a 455 from another 69 Delta. He has the titles from both cars so I know what it came from. The owner said he has another transmission that I assume was the original from the 350 car. He doesn't know what it is, but I'm assuming it's a 350.

Olds/Chevy transmissions are the same?

If he wants money for it, what's it worth and should I bother with it?

If it's the original trans it's low mileage. The car has 75k on it and I'm not sure how many miles are with the 455 in it.

The Oldmobile bolt pattern is shared with Buick and Pontiac and is different the the Chev/GM bolt pattern. The common term used BOP style bolt pattern. The original 455 car used a turbo 400. the 350 car most likley used a turbo 350. $125-$200 for a core tranny

That's what I thought. Thanks!
