Changing Carburetor
I want to replace my current holley in my 67. Motor is the original 330 but the intake is from a 73 350. I would like to get the street demon but looks like I would need a spacer to clear the EGR. Would a spacer be ok on my motor, if yes can I just use a open spacer or will I need a 4 hole. Or does anyone have a good suggestion for my car it is stock with 83,000 miles.

The Street Demon is a 3 barrel design that has a square and spreadbore bolt pattern base plate. I would use an open 1" spacer for a Qjet. You can make a block off plate for the EGR valve.

I just finished installing the Street Demon and I am very happy. Only adjustment I did was to adjust the transfer slot before install. Started right up and and throttle response is awesome. Thanks for the information as always guys.

I have only seen person unhappy with those carbs from all the online reviews, everyone else really likes them. I almost pulled the trigger but my 78 QJet ended up being $100 cheaper because I the core and needed the TV bracket for my 2004R. If I go dual quad, they will get the nod over any other carbs.
