Is there a way to tell if the engine is the 310hp or 250hp version by looking at it?
I know the 310hp came with 4bbl but there is no sticker on the oil fill tube.

Well, obviously if the intake and carb are original, the 310 HP motor is a 4bbl and the 250 HP motor is a 2bbl. Of course, these can be easily changed. The better way to tell is to pull a spark plug and use an inspection camera to look at the piston. The 250 HP motor has 9.00:1 CR and a large dish in the piston. The 310 HP motor has 10.25:1 CR and a minimal 6cc dish in the piston.
