267?

Until today, never knewa Chev 267 was put into the cutlass...chance of buying an 82 Cutlass Calais ....this motor any good?Heard they have a 350 crank....

Yes, the 267 was used in non-Chivy cars and yes it was gutless but the ones I have had were indestructible, one in particular got very hot dozens of times and just kept going. The crank and rods are 350 and the bore is something like 3.5"and the heads were same as 305 heads.

Exactly why I bought an 88 CSC, already had an Olds V8 in it. I should have have saved for a 84 Hurst/Olds. My BIL had an 81 with a 267 in it. Gutless turd but lasted till he sold it. They were a motor you could get for $50 or free.

I had a 267 in a 1979 Monte Carlo. Not the best, but had more power than the 260 in my 1980 Cutlass.
