I got some weird thing like that happening too. It doesn't seem to prevent me from doing anything. Maybhe someone can fix it.

Exclamation I see this now also...

I am starting to see this also. I have to close IE, clear cookies and temporary internet files and then re-log in. Then I get the ability to see one post and be able to reply and then it acts up again.

Do you get the yellow triangle at the bottom left of the browser window that says error on page? I do.

What gives?

As a guest I can see everything.
When logged in, all pictures and buttons disappear after the first post.
It looks like the quick reply works and I can now see the pictures on this post only...

I think Paul addressed this issue, it is the browser. You may try another browser just temporarily and see if that fixes it.

Actually impacted me too for a few days - keep losing my "keep me logged in on this computer" cookie and had to log back in. I think the server owners (Internet Brands) was messing with server settings or something, likely related to the upcoming forum software upgrade. Seems to be all better now though?

It looks like the problem still exists for me at home. At work it works fine.
I only use EI and have not done any "updates" unless it did something on its own.
Anything I can look for or change? I can only use EI for win xp.

EI or IE (Internet Explorer)? So with Windows XP you can only use IE? I dind't know that. I will ask around here are work, we have a few guys with extensive Windows training. I think getting rid of IE will fix your problem though. If you could use firefox you would probably not have trouble. I use it and never have trouble.

I checked, you should be able to use Firefox, it will fix your problems, is free and easy to download.

Unfortunately I need to keep IE. My ad / spam filter does not support FF and I will never go back to ads...
I do not want to learn new software anyway. I had FF at work when i changed positions and hated it. It never worked right so I had 'em change me back to IE. This old dog does not like to learn new tricks...

If IE at work works, why not at home now? Need to research a little bit...

I had this problem and was told to change URL for the site to: classicoldsmobile.com/forums/index.php Seems to have fixed the problem.

I used the different URL and I get logged on to the forums page not the home page as before. If I try to go to the home page it says I can't access the page, the same message everyone else is getting I would guess. That seems to be the only problem I've seen and I also use IE.

did you try navigating manually to a different page and signing on from that one? Or just clicking reply and signing on from there? You might have to PM Paul with more specific "errors" and see if he can help you out. Honestly I really like firefox, it works great for me.

I love Firefox, haven't had nearly as much problem with pop-ups and junk like I did with Internet Explorer. I'm on my Mac using Safari and I'm having the same problem. All I have to do is navigate away from the login page. It only pops up when I first login.

I have good luck for the most part with firefox. can't use some yahoo applications, but haven't had any virus problems, or pop up issues since the switch from ie. Try changing your hyperlink to the forums page, or directly to the new posts.
