The Cutlass Salon was introduced in 1973 as a European Touring car - option Y78. Reclining wide bucket seats, special interior trim, w/w radials, specially tuned ride and handling package and headlight dimmer built into the turn signal lever. Most Salons came with a console. In 1973 it was only available as a four door. From 1974 - 1976 both four door and two doors were available. 1977 Salons were two door only. The seats were slimmer than the previous years.
