My hometown car show

This is the last local show in the Lansing area for the year. I had to take the day off for this one. Overcast and little spritzing at the start but by middle the sun started to peak out. FYI mine is not pictured.

Thank for sharing the pictures.


Love seeing that silver 72 442 with the CORRECT stripes. So many feel obliged to change the factory stripe.

Nice pics. That yellow '71 Cutlass Convert. was at a show in Pentwater last Saturday, roughly 160 miles away. Of course if he lived somewhere in between it might not be so much.

With the exception of Homecoming I have never seen so many Oldsmobiles at one show,very nice!

My home town is only 10 minutes from where ever homecoming has been except when it was at the administration building/ Plant #1 which maybe 15 minutes. There should have been more, I talked with another supreme owner who had a small leak in his radiator and did not want to risk it.

And another close friend brought his 72 G.P. instead of his 84 hurst.

Nice pics. I like the two wagons, especially the Vista. You don't see them enough anymore. The *****'s behind the 88 was cool too.

That's completely insane, that car is running tires that haven't been made since roughly the late 80s. I wouldn't go over about 30 miles an hour with those tires. That beautiful W-30 is running some 20 year old rolling stock too. Those guys are just asking for it. Great pictures, thanks a lot.

It's crazy spending so much on a rig. For $500+ and your life and others not worth it!!! And that was no clone W-30 aged red fender liners and correct fuel filter setup.

You ever look in parking lots with what people are running, bald or near bald. badly worn tires.
