Love hate relationship. Pluses and minuses for us Olds owners. You need high water mark pristine examples. Its good to see that the markets catching on that Olds is a player. But we've known that all along.

This forum is used to share thought, our passion for Olds and learn.

I watch auctions little more than for the entertainment value and possibly gain insight on value trends (which I get is relative). That stated, many folks think of car auctions as the anti Christ, so those of us that want to simply chit chat about auctions might value a separate section dedicated to results, etc that occur at auctions. Just a thought for the board mods that set up the different boards. Board traffic would obviously be low from late summer to through Dec, but many would enjoy the banter without hearing the obligatory death star auction rhetoric.

Yeah sounds like you need to send some personal emails to your fellow Auction lovers and chat there. And I wouldn't take swipes at other Olds board members that don't agree with you. You might get some replies you don't like.

The intended context was for those that wish to discuss anything auction related,

possibly there might be another area other than the general forum better suited. No ill intended

No problem at all pal, hope you find what your looking for. My issue is all of these BJ car Auction's cars get locked away and never seen again until the next Auction. My enjoyment as with some others is seeing the cars on the road and at car shows. When the wrong people get them there locked up like an Gold investment.

I think I head the auctioneer say it was restored by Thronton. Not impressed with their restoring to "original". I saw in person a lot and I mean a lot wrong with his cars, proper type of finishes for nuts, bolts, clips, bolt head identification logos, etc. His body and painters do good work thought!
